Experience the Future of Alpine Skiing: ShredShox to Host Public Demos at Stifel Birds of Prey Audi FIS Ski World Cup Men’s Weekend
November 7, 2024, 2024 – ShredShox is thrilled to announce that, for the first time, ski enthusiasts will have the opportunity to test the world’s only full-suspension ski platform at the Stifel Birds of Prey North America’s premier alpine ski event) this December in Beaver Creek, Colorado. ShredShox will be on-site December 6-8 as part of the ten day event. During the Vail Valley Foundation’s Stifel Birds of Prey Audi FIS Ski World Cup men’s weekend, ShredShox will offer public demos along Birds of Prey Way in Beaver Creek Village, showcasing a breakthrough in skiing innovation designed to transform the downhill experience.
"ShredShox all started as an idea born from a passion for downhill ski racing,” said Ken Nichols, Co-Founder of ShredShox. “Bringing the ShredShox technology to Birds of Prey, with its advanced suspension and damping abilities inspired by motorsports and mountain biking, marks a huge milestone for us. We're excited to share this evolution in ski performance with event attendees."
Nick Foster, Co-Founder and Head of Design of ShredShox, said, “The engineering and design is built on both form and function, delivering high-performance suspension and damping technology for the hardest of chargers, as well as those looking to enhance their stability and reduce fatigue throughout their body. Being able to bring this technology to a world-class event is a great next step for ShredShox.”
Jarrod Krisiloff, ShredShox’s Head of Brand and part-time Vail resident, added, “This summer, we were excited to launch the ShredShox brand. Since then, we've been met with an incredible amount of interest. Given our racing lineage, there is no better place for consumers to get to know ShredShox and the exciting technology we bring to skiing. I grew up skiing at Beaver Creek, and I can't wait to see the ShredShox bombing down Gold Dust."
Now available for preorder, the first 500 customers can lock in their ShredShox with a $100 deposit today. Delivery is expected in time for the 2025/26 North American ski season, allowing early adopters to be among the first to experience this game-changing platform. ShredShox comes in five distinct colorways – Shadow, Alpenglow, Bluebird, Sundown, and the Tahoe 60 Edition, the latter of which is a special tribute to the origins of ShredShox and the home of the 1960 Winter Olympics.
Designed for enhanced control, stability, and comfort, ShredShox combines cutting-edge suspension technology with precision damping, setting a new standard in the world of alpine skiing. Attendees and interested media are invited to visit the ShredShox demo station December 6-8 and experience firsthand how this innovative platform redefines what’s possible on the slopes.
