ShredShox on the mountain

Welcome to the family

Getting started

The newest category in alpine skiing has arrived. Full-suspension skiing brings new sensations, new technique, and new performance - and it rewards proper setup, awareness, and progression. Here is how to get acclimated, build confidence, and get the most out of your ShredShox.

Unbox your platform
01

Unbox your platform

Open the box for your first in-person look at a complete full-suspension platform. Inside you will find everything you need: a purpose-built all-mountain ski, the integrated ShredShox suspension system, and a hand pump to charge and tune your shocks.

Set up your bindings
02

Set up your bindings

Before your first run, have a qualified binding technician at your local shop mount and adjust your bindings to your boot sole length, set your DIN, and verify forward pressure for your size and skier type. We also recommend a fresh tune for the conditions you expect.

Binding adjustment and maintenance are the sole responsibility of the user. ShredShox does not set bindings; have them configured and checked by a qualified technician before use.

Tune your shocks
03

Tune your shocks

Four shocks, two per ski. Start with all four at the same PSI for a balanced baseline while you acclimate, then fine-tune to your style, terrain, and conditions. Every skier is different, so experimentation is part of the fun.

Your first descents

Your first descents

Let it rip. The first run or two is an acclimation period - new feedback, new sensations, new control. Once you are comfortable, ski as you normally would and start dialing the system into your style and terrain.

Do the bindings come set up?

No. Before your first run, have a qualified binding technician set your boot sole length, DIN, and forward pressure for your size and skier type, and re-check them regularly.

Is skiing on ShredShox safe?

Alpine skiing is inherently risky, and no equipment - including a suspension system - can eliminate the risk of injury. By using the equipment you assume those risks. Please read the full assumption of risk and waiver before riding.
