Field Marketing & Retail Representative
Represent ShredShox at demo events, ski shops, and regional activations throughout the winter season. Perfect for someone who loves skiing, has experience in outdoor retail or marketing, and wants flexible, seasonal work with a rapidly growing ski innovation brand.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and staff on-snow demo events across the region (about 2-4 per month in season).
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partnered retail shops and demo fleets.
- Conduct in-store product training and installation walkthroughs for shop staff.
- Set up and manage ShredShox-branded displays and promotional materials.
- Capture consumer feedback, testimonials, and sales data from events.
- Support retailer marketing campaigns, social media collaborations, and PR activations.
- Maintain demo equipment, transport units, and manage logistics for regional events.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of ski equipment and tuning/mounting basics.
- Prior experience in outdoor retail, ski sales, or field marketing.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Comfortable traveling regionally to resorts and retail locations (expenses reimbursed).
- Able to lift and transport demo equipment (about 30-40 lbs).
- Valid driver's license and weekend availability during ski season.
Compensation & term
- Part-Time, seasonal (December to April), renewable.
- Contract plus a percentage of sales.
- Performance bonuses based on retail conversions and event success.
- Travel reimbursed: mileage, lodging, and lift tickets.
- Potential to extend into summer events and the next winter season.

Key responsibilities
- Commit to on-mountain testing and ongoing product feedback.
- Represent ShredShox professionally during ski days, events, and demos.
- Create and share high-quality photo and video content (aligned with brand guidelines).
- Take part in social campaigns and tag @ShredShox in relevant posts.
- Support ShredShox demo events in your region when available.
- Provide product insights that help improve future designs.
Ideal candidate
- Curious skiers who love finding new ways to experience alpine skiing.
- Active in the ski community (instructors, patrollers, coaches, competitors, or influential recreational skiers).
- Strong communication and social media skills.
- Comfortable representing a performance brand on and off the mountain.
- Can dedicate at least 10-15 days per season to testing and content.
- Creative, enthusiastic approach to skiing and innovation.

Key responsibilities
- Help manage ShredShox social accounts (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube).
- Create engaging content - short videos, photos, and posts in the ShredShox brand voice.
- Support influencer and athlete outreach programs.
- Develop and schedule email campaigns through marketing tools.
- Help with media tracking, press releases, and event coverage.
- Work with the Head of Brand on campaigns tied to demos and product launches.
- Analyze social performance data and recommend content.
Ideal candidate
- Currently enrolled in college (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field).
- Passion for skiing, snow sports, or outdoor brands.
- Experience with social tools (Canva, Later, Buffer, Adobe Express, etc.).
- Strong writing and visual communication skills.
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently in a creative environment.
- Willing to travel to events occasionally (travel stipends provided).
